Experience the many benefits of yoga! You don’t have to be young, thin or flexible to do yoga. Begin right where you are with gentle stretches and accessible yoga postures using a chair as an aid for balance and stability. This is yoga for everyone, whether you are older, have a long-standing physical limitation, or simply don’t consider yourself ‘yoga material'.
All yoga poses have the option of being chair supported, brining the floor up to you, enabling more productive opportunities for flexibility, strength and balance
Warm up stretches and pose demonstration before each pose
Yoga poses that are modified
A very simple, easy to do variation starts the exploration of a pose
Variations for legs and torso are shown to make the pose more challenging if ready
Alternate arm variations are demonstrated
A student’s physical limitations are accommodated
Your wisest teacher is you! Through private yoga classes you will learn to listen to your body’s needs, strengths and weaknesses, allowing you to explore and grow through the process of yoga.
